Vintage Pair of Scottish Terrier Scottie Dog Bronze Brass Sculptures Bookends

Vintage pair of Scottish Terrier sculptures or bookends - not sure if they are brass, bronze, or brass with a bronze finish? They are not magnetic, so I know they aren't just metal. One has a chipped ear. The bases appear to be marble, but they have some chips. They each measure approximately 4 1/2 wide x 2 1/4 deep x 5 7/8 tall.Please refer closely to photos for condition.
