With a clear explanation in the form of questions and answers surrounding ethics, science & philosophy in which the Society was based, with glossary of theosophical terms. remarkably rare antique occult / mysticism / spirituality / philosophy book by the author of Isis Unveiled and others. Some rubbing/scuffing to covers with shelf wear around the edges - including bumped corners and a few mildly frayed areas. Binding is split in a few gutters and binding is loosing, though all pages remain attached. Foxing to many pages with some soiling towards outer edges of a few near beginning and end of book.
