there were 2 pages in the front that had writing in them so they have been ripped out, its impossible to tell unless if you were to count the pages yourself.not from a smoke free home, so there may be an odor. i dont smoke but other people in the house do, and i keep getting complaints about it. excellent for everyday use. excellent materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
